PALOMA  PROJECT: Sokaris Ingenierie, leader of WP 5000 “Topological optimization”

SOKARIS INGENIERIE takes part in the PALOMA project in order to develop methodologies of integration “product / process” considering constraints related to additive manufacturing thanks to its collaboration with manufacturers.

Our challenge: To be able to design, optimize and industrialize certified metal parts made with additive manufacturing for aerospace sector.

One the one hand, this new know-how will allow us to meet customer needs. On the other hand, we will master, with our partners, the entire development process of a component or system from design step to industrialization.

QUICK GPS PROJECT

This project is an integral part of an overall approach for the development of a new activity centered on optimization, mathematically speaking. The main objective is to develop a tool for automatic generation and optimization of the functional tolerancing of mechanisms in the digital factory.

Rhône Alpes Auvergne region

Sokaris Ingenierie also takes part in the following competitiveness clusters: PLASTIPOLIS for plastics and composite activites and, CIMES for the mechanical industry.

As part of our actions in the medical / health and transport / mobility sectors, Sokaris Ingenierie wished to join Plastipolis. On the one hand, this membership offers the opportunity to participate in collaborative projects in order to improve its skills of the thermoplastic transformation and assembly processes. On the other hand, it can take part in cooperation projects to develop marketable products and systems.

With the support of the cluster CIMES, and in cooperation with mechanical engineering companies in the region, Sokaris Ingenierie creates new tooling concepts. They are more efficient and adapted to new manufacturing technologies in order to significantly improve the attractiveness of these companies.
